The 1st International Summer School on Digital Supply Chain and Logistics Management (DSCLM) was successfully completed on July the 5th with participants from 7 countries.

DSCLM2019 is the 1st International Summer School on Digital Supply Chain and Logistics Management, organized in Thessaloniki from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Hellenic Institute of Transport and Texas A&M University.
The aim of this five-day Summer School is to familiarize graduate students with state-of-the-art advances and trends in digital supply chain including digital infrastructures, digital sourcing, production and transportation management and digital demand management. The main topics of this year’s event are:

  • Demand anticipation using predictive analytics (demand sensing, big data, data mining)
  • Supply chain as a service (on demand)
  • Disruptive supply chain technologies (blockchain, IoT & Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), 3D printing)
  • Warehouse optimization techniques
  • Physical Internet: Shaping the Future of Global Logistics
  • Case studies in supply chain digitalization

The event will take place in Thessaloniki at the KEDEK AUTH (Balkan Center) and HIT/CERTH facilities from July 1st to July 5th.


The AgriBusiness Forum of 2019 will take place from October 31st to November 2nd in Serres, Greece.

Dear friends, colleagues and partners of the Department of Supply Chain Management & Logistics, We gladly announce you the organisation of the 4rth Olympus International Conference in Supply Chains (4th Olympus ICSC). The Conference will take place in the city of Katerini headquarters of our Department on September 14 & 15, 2018 at Mediterranean Village Hotel (5* beach Hotel, Paralia Katerinis).

The GREEN-AgriChains Project is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 1st International Conference of Agrifood SCM and Green Logistics, to be held from May 27th to 30th, 2015, at Halkidiki, Greece. The deadline for abstract submission is March 1st, 2015.


The Greek Association of Supply Chain Management (GASCM) will organize the annual 18th Panhellenic Logistics Conference, which will be held at The Met Hotel in Thessaloniki, Greece, end of November, 2014.

Acknowledging the vital role of sustainable supply chains in the development of international trade, the subject of the Conference is “Sustainable Supply Chain Networks”.
